Completely hopeless! The app can't even get the current temperature right. It's a joke. I agree with "Big Johnson". All that coding, and the basic data is way off. How ridiculous.

This app gets its data from accuweather.com, and their data is infamously erroneous.
Who cares how nice the GUI is if the forcast is unreliable?

Yesterday Weather Live showed rain at 7 & 10 pm.
Fortunately before I left, I checked a local news station's website and they showed no rain until tonight.
At 7 & 10 pm last night it was dry - stars in the sky and no sign of precipitation.
Now it’s the following day at 2 pm - still no rain but it’s overcast.

I've found that ALL the big weather data sources are unreliable, including NOAA.
They don't have humans interpreting the data from thousands of towns and cities across the country and tailoring a forecast for each area - their algorithms do that.
I've found the local meteorologists are much more accurate, because they look at the data from the local airport and other sources.

I’d lower my rating to 1.5 stars, but MU won’t allow me because I’ve already rated this version.

I've tried to like this app, but the developer keeps failing to fix its shortcomings. I got it because the dev's site says "Helpful widget for your Notification Center in OS X Yosemite: see the weather forecast at a glance!" Well, sort of. In order for the widget to stay updated, the app itself must be opened. It's supposed to display weather symbols for four days. If you don't open it for two days, then only the most recent 2 days are shown, the others are blank. If you don't open the app for four days, the widget is all blank. As I've told the dev., I don't WANT to open the app every day and then close it just to keep the widget updated. Widgets are supposed to function independently, otherwise what's the point? Just open the app. Yes, the GUI is nice, but that's not the point. The widget, when it's been updated, usually shows me all I need. If for some reason I want to know what time the sun sets, THEN I'll open the app.

I loved this when I first downloaded it, but it isn't working at all now. Most of the time it shows nothing at all (an pretty image, but no text). Sometimes it shows (null) in place of all data that should be there. Very frustrating. :/ It anyone can recommend a 'fix' for it, I'd appreciate it. I had hoped that quitting out of it and opening it again would fix it, but it did not.
